HEO interview guide
Most HEO interviews are behaviour-based. A panel asks for examples and probes your actions, judgement and results against the behaviours in the advert.
What changes at HEO
Expect deeper follow-ups on trade-offs, stakeholders and impact. Answers should still be STAR, but Action should show independent judgement, leading small pieces of work and connecting your work to team goals.
Preparation
- Prepare two examples per advertised behaviour.
- Practise aloud to 2–3 minutes.
- Be ready for "what would you do differently?"
